11/2 lbs. lean ground beef 2 c. cooked rice 1 c. minced onion 1 tsp. minced garlic
2 T. Worcestershire sauce 11/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground pepper 6 to 8 slices bacon, about half cooked
Preheat oven to 450°. Combine ground beef with rice, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Blend well, then shape into 6 to 8 round patties (if 6, the patties will be about 1 inch thick). Wrap a strip of bacon around each patty; fasten with wood pick. Place in ungreased shallow baking pan. Bake 25 minutes, or until bacon is cooked and beef patties are done as desired. Remove picks before serving.
